Or your entire faction can donate up to 100 mil before then, and you'll also get a Death Star.

Is there going to be a thread, or several threads, to give the rebellion the chance to destroy this before its finished?

No because we don't know about it, but we have several counter plans ready.

In the event we find out about it, I mean building a death star is hard to keep secret considering the thousands of workers required plus basically everything else to do with the massive job of building something like that. But yes, in the event we discover it in the next six months or so, will we have the opportunity to destroy it before its completed?

I would have to say no, simply because the things secret enough that everyone involved in the construction cannot leave until the thing is fully unveiled, and the only two people who know about it right now are Empress Astren and her Apprentice Keita, and I'm sure that even Keita doesn't know where it is exactly at this time. Heck, not even my character knows the thing even exists, and I'd also have to say that you guys having any plans about it at all is somewhat Metagaming anyways due to the fact that you have no idea the damn thing exists, so you'd have no plans for taking it out at this time.

remember that the Death Star was being built during the Clone Wars. If they kept it secret all those years it wouldn't be a problem to keep it secret for a couple of months. And Grahm's right. Preparing counter-measures for something your characters don't even know about is metagaming.

If they have all the benefits of funding the project, and it already been in construction since during the clone wars, why is it that we can't have spies find out about it? The precise same way they found out during the movies.

....i say we just blow them all up before they make a huge moon like battle death star thingie...because big green beams of death are mean.

Also, as Eaon has decided to do, the only sentients in the Phoenix Democracy are you Jedi. Eaon has decided to use droids from now on. Why? Beats me.

Also, as Eaon has decided to do, the only sentients in the Phoenix Democracy are you Jedi. Eaon has decided to use droids from now on. Why? Beats me. That's completely ridiculous! The whole Phoenix Democracy is completely lame, why can't we just use The Rebel Alliance? The Empire still gets to be the Empire, it has its Death Stars and Inquisition, but the people who want to be Rebels get stuck with this stupid Phoenix Democracy, the Empire get a Death Star, which appears to be totally free if they just wait long enough (if that's the case, I want one!), and we're not allowed make any attempt to stop its construction, because we don't know about it, and finding out is compleletely impossible because that's metagaming, its not like the Rebel Alliance didn't use spies anyway...wait...we're "The Phoenix Democracy" and we only use robots. How one sided are you trying to make this site? Being a Rebel is becoming more and more unattractive. Seriously, WTF?!? Put the nail in the coffin and give Empire characters double money when they post, "because they're the empire, they should have more resources." If we can't use The Rebel Alliance (I don't see anything in the plot to stop us, it was started by Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, Padmé Amidala, and Garm Bel Iblis, Padmé's dead, but everything needed from her would already be in place) take me off the Phoenix Democracy, I'll just be a Jedi or something. <.<

Hrm? The reason I went with droids? They're cheaper and easier to produce and considering when we started we were out numbered, had one planet, and the faction was Seph and I, and oege as a merc, I figured I needed a quick, cheaply built army. I'm still gonna use Mercs and such later on, but you gotta admit for an army that you need fast, nothing beats em'.
That's literally the only reason I reactivated the droids, it was either that or go to the Hutts, and they supply Rodians, and I HATE Rodians.
Also on the accusitions of Meta-Gaming, Knowing you have a Death Star even though you're not the Empress is Meta-Gaming so piss off. We still have to give you a chance to fight back and it's not like our counter plans are in a file labeled "That Weapon that isn't out yet." and as such our Counter Plans will be used for other things until then and will be vulnerable to destruction in the mean time.
And by Plan it's not actually a plan, it's more like a standing army we'll be using that will actually have the power to fight a Death Star, however that was not it's original purpose. It just occured to me when in this thread I had the ability to use it for both, nothing wrong with thinking is there?
However Draq is right, the Death Star(s) were both kept secret until their completion date, as such we will assume they have the means to do that here.
