Other types of servant?

What would staffs stance be on the idea of other types of servant other then soldiers forming an elite guard or the like.

I'd be interested in things like....engineers who might make developing vehicles cheaper, a doctor who might have a bonus over the regular type, maybe a tank commander who might be able to pilot a tank vehicle for bonus damage or the like, maybe a mathematician who which might earn a bonus to Artillery fire because he can work out the particulars.

What do you folks think?

At the moment I'd like to expand my retinue to include

Doctor/Surgeon
Pilot
Engineer

More so then anything else those ones anyway, if you could get back to me on suitable skills/bonus's it would be appreciated.
