The dawn arrived in Theed. The light exiled the darkness from the city-scape and shone on the palace of the Queen. A new day and one more with her people still enslaved under the evil grasps of the Empire. But she still held hope. Hope kept her and her people lively and in good spirit. But her true feelings were those of fear. Fear for her people. How long will they be like this? Ants under the watchful eyes of the Empire. But there were those working toward the restoration of the Republic. The Alliance. Those who would sacrifice their life to bring down the Empire. And their ally, Golden Sun-a new faction of elite soldiers that seem to want the downfall of the Empire as much as the Alliance. The sun would shine brighter than before on Theed that day. And the occasion for celebration would be momentous.
A few hours before, aboard the Peace Bringer...
Keaon entered the dim atmosphere of the Communications Room though the metallic, sliding doors. He adorned his Crimson Guard armor, complete with the crimson cloth on his waist. This signified his affiliation in Golden Sun. The best of the best-a Crimson Guard. No one was there. Only Keaon and the round hologram station in the middle of the room. After a second, a bright-blue light jutted up from the station and within the light appeared the figure of Draque-Keaon's Emperor.
"Mi lord, we have arrived on Naboo," said Keaon. On the large view screen at the far-end of the room appeared the planet of Naboo. A lush green ball with much life. It reminded Keaon of Null. A planet where his people can live in peace and without battle. Boring was the word that came to his mind. But he couldn't help but imagine himself living among his people.
"Did they attempt to make contact?" asked Draque. It was standard procedure to intercept any incoming vessels and extract the vessel's business on the planet. Keaon shook his head. "Once they do, greet them with authority and demand to be let through. You are logged as the High Inquisitor's General. They have no choice but to let you through."
The transmission shut off. With that finished, Keaon headed to the bridge where he received the said transmission from Theed. "Your ship is not on our logs, please identify yourself. If you fail to do so, you will be destroyed." Keaon disarmed the Star Destroyer's weapons and began to send his identification codes to the Comm Station planet-side. They immediately disengaged their artillery and loosened security. "My apologies, General! You are clear to land your shuttle on Docking Bay 09." said the lieutenant in charge of the Comm Station.
And with that, they were clear to enter the atmosphere and eradicate the infestation of Imperial scum from the face of Theed. The transports rained down on the planet. The people of Naboo saw them and feared the worst. Were they going to act aggressively toward the people once more? Were they going to kill them? As the transports arrived, Keaon revealed himself. But the storm Troopers on the landing pad immediately raised their blasters upon seeing the armor he adorned. They did not look like storm troopers. That was certain. "Lower your weapons!" came the voice of the lieutenant from the Comm Station. It came through the installations speaker system. "That is the High Inquisitor's escort!" The Storm Troopers lowered their weapons slowly and allowed Keaon to enter peacefully. The rest of the Guard stayed on the ship, looking upon the obsolete Troopers before them.
"What brings you here, General?" asked the Lieutenant. Keaon walked through the doors and looked over the large room, finally spotting the communication station. Keaon unsheathed his Wraithbone in a split second and swiftly lunged it through the man's abdomen. Seconds after another man was bleeding on the comm station computer while the troopers outside hit the floor with blaster bolt wounds on there armor. "This is Keaon. Proceed with bombing the Imperial outpost near the Gungan villages." At his command, light rained down on the outposts surrounding the Gungan villages. Nothing was left but smoldering ruins and large craters burning with intense heat. The people of Theed didn't know what to make of it. But they knew what was out there. And what must have happened to them. They weren't shedding any tears.
The transports headed back to the 'Peace Bringer' but Keaons transport made a quick stop at central square, facing the Theed palace. The transport roared as it hovered above the crowded streets. The people paralyzed with fear. Keaon revealed himself through the transport's sliding doors, helm-less in his Crimson Guard armor. "People of Theed!" he shouted as loud as he could through the communication system. His voice roared throughout all of Theed's central square and reached the queen's ears as she looked down on the man aboard the ship. "You are free from the grasps of the Empire! Remember the name of the people who liberated you from such evil! The Golden Sun! Remember this day as the day that Golden Sun won you your freedom once more!" Keaon raised his fist in the air. The people under him were unsure of what to think. His words were sudden. But the word they were fond of was "freedom". With that, they couldn't help but cheer. The crowded streets roared with words of freedom and the admiration for the people that freed them. Keaon motioned to the pilot and the ship made it's way to queen, high above on her balcony. The ship approached her. The turbines blowing so much dust on her and the palace. She had to cover her eyes for a second and let the dust clear. "Mi lady, the Alliance will be here shortly. But remember Golden Sun and the deed we have done for your great people." Keaon said courteously. Bowing his head to the royal official. The Queen smiled and bowed her head in response to the man's courtesy. "If you should need assistance, we will lend our hand if it is needed." The ship ascended into space, the doors locking in place. The people continued to cheer. And as word got to the Gungan people, they too celebrated in their own way. The sun shone on Naboo brightly that day and it remained bright until night struck. But the day Golden Sun liberated Naboo would surely not be forgotten.
