Time is running short...
Already three years behind on his path to becoming the Avatar, nineteen-year-old Avatar Asadi left all he knew behind in the Si Wong desert, including his twin sister. While the world seems peaceful, an anti-bender movement is churning below the surface in the Earth Kingdom. With Ba Sing Se limiting families to one child, it seems like benders have taken preference by even their own parents. Other Earth Kingdom cities, including Omashu, stand against Ba Sing Se's laws and discrimination, but will negotiations fall through and turn the Earth Kingdom against itself? With tension mounting on all sides, many fear the Earth Kingdom will tear itself apart.
In addition to the civil unrest in the Earth Kingdom, the Northern Water Tribe has been nearly obliterated. Cataclysmic storms and horrible hurricanes have ravaged the Northern Water Tribe, displacing hundreds of waterbenders. They have become refugees on foreign shores. Some have traveled to their sister Tribe, and others bide their time in the other nations until Shai City is once again inhabitable. In spite of the nations welcoming these victims, intolerance has spread. To some, these blue-eyed waterbenders are invading their home. For the waterbenders, many social barriers bar the once isolated people. Slurs of "blue eyes" and "mist makers" are whispered on Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation lips.
Time is running short. The Avatar will soon be called upon to mediate between opposing sides and test his abilities. No one can say if tomorrow's sunlight will cast upon a world at peace, or a world of ruin.
No matter what happens the world is being shaped, is it for the better or for the worse?
