Oege walked back to Enen's cantina. He waited a while, just sipping on the room temperature water. After a long wait he finally got the message from Eaon that they had vacated the system with the remaining troops to Raxus Prime. Oege sighed, slamming the rest of his water as if it were actual alcohol, and left the bar. He walked around a few corners using his Force Seeing as he still refused to remove his blindfold. He could feel the cool night air kiss his fur. He didn't normally pay attention to these kind of things, but when your blindfolded it can change your perception of the world.
After a few minutes of walking Oege reached his destination. It was a little merchants area, mostly used for black market trading among the common thieves and mercenaries down here. Oege heard the buzz of neon lights as they were the only sunshine down here, they almost never went off. Oege walked over to a merchants stand. He spoke to the merchant.
"What kinda weapons you got in the maser department?"
The merchant smiled, thinking to make a quick buck off a blind man who couldn't see the condition of the weapons.
"Well! My good sir we have plenty! What are you looking for?"
"Something in the handgun category but on that packs more of a punch than a fast fire rate. And maybe anything with a little bit of modification, if you get my drift."
"Well turns out I have just what your looking for right here!"
The merchant holds out his hands at Oege, with a blaster pistol in them. Oege reached out and grabbed it from the merchant pretending to feel it all over as if he were actually blind. In all actuality he was using Force Seeing. The merchant had handed him a standard blaster pistol, it just fired masers not lasers. Oege sighed then spoke to the man.
"I don't think you understand that just because I'm blind physically doesn't mean I can't tell this is a piece of crap standard maser. I guess I'll just have to take my business over there, maybe they will have what I'm looking for."
Oege said as he pointed to the shop across the way. Oege had been by this area enough times to sense that these two shops wer rivals.
"Wait wait! You know I was just playing around! Not often I get such a gentleman like yourself! Here maybe this is what your looking for!"
The man this time held out a black revolver style blaster pistol.
"Its an extended custom barrel of ten inches for superior accuracy compared to other pistols! And due to its design it can only fire one shot at a time, but, it packs the biggest maser caliber punch in that shot! If used by someone who knows what they are doing they could knock over a man with one shot! Oh and notice that at the tip of the barrel there are little vents with glowing lights in them. Those are specially modified to reduce heat generated by such a powerful shot fired from this gun so it can have repetitive fire without over heating! Its truly a masterpiece!"
Oege felt the gun all over again and nodding similarly. This time he was speaking the complete truth.
"How much?"
"300000 imperial credits"
"Hmmm, that just too steep for me, I guess I'll just take my business elsewhere."
Oege said as he set down the gun and began to walk towards the rival shop. The merchant thought for a second and in fear that the other dealer would have a better weapon or lower prices he yelled to Oege.
"Fine! Fine, fine. 100000 imperial credits, you have gotta understand I'm barely making profit at that price, with all the modifications and smuggling it here, its no cheap toy!"
"100000 credits it is then, thank you for your service."
Oege said as he smiled, grabbed his new weapon and laid the money on the counter. He held his left arm inside its sleeve, holding and hiding the weapon inside his cloak. As he walked to go to the shuttles, as getting off world was a good idea, something caught his attention in an alleyway. He stopped took a few steps back and used Force Seeing to look down the alley. There was a male species that had pinned a female Twi'lek up against the concrete wall. She screamed for help as Oege rushed down the alley using Force Speed to get there as quick as possible. The male noticed and pulled a knife on her.
"I'll kill her if you don't leave."
The male said threatening Oege. Oege quickly Force Pulled the man's hand away from her throat. Then pulled him close to Oege after which Oege used his right hand and grabbed the man by his neck.
"I'll kill you if you touch her, oh wait, too late."
With those words the males eyes widened as Oege swiftly held the gun to the man's forehead. He gripped tightly and pulled the trigger. The gun went off and the bullet was so powerful it blew the back half of the man's skull off. The recoil and inexperience of the weapon brought it back and wacked his shoulder, leaving a large bruise even under his cloak. The female thanked him and quickly ran off. Oege reached down, and took the man's wallet, and also took the man's leather jacket. Oege wrapped the jacket around his pistol in the fashion that it just looked like it was a jacket folded under his arm.
Oege got out of the alleyway and continued to the shuttles. He walked up to a terminal outside the docking area and punched in a few things, buying a ticket. He did so under the alias of the man he just killed, so he would not be detected by the Empire. The terminal spit out his ticket. Oege ripped it off, then gave it to the droid standing at the entrance to the shuttle. It had been the first time he left in three years.
